“I am truly honored to join Ventura County Animal Services, working alongside an incredible team of staff and volunteers who are deeply committed to the well-being of our animals and community,” shared Rodriguez. “Together, with the support of County leadership, our dedicated stakeholders, and our community members, we will build meaningful connections that enrich the lives of every member of Ventura County—pets and people alike.”
Rodriguez, known for his approach to animal welfare that prioritizes community engagement and equity, will assume his new duties on October 14, 2024, and at an annual salary of $215,000.
