VENTURA, Calif. – As Phase 2 of debris removal and property cleanup continues, the Ventura County Environmental Health Division is pleased to announce the launch of the Mountain Fire Debris Removal Dashboard. This new tool, available on the Ventura County Recovers website, allows residents enrolled in the County-Led Debris Removal Program to track the status of the cleanup process on their properties.
The Mountain Fire Debris Removal Dashboard provides daily updates on the progress of cleanup efforts, a crucial step toward recovery and rebuilding. Residents can search by address and use the legend on the right side of the dashboard to view the current stage of debris removal for their property. The Phase 2 debris removal includes several key steps to ensure a thorough and safe cleanup: site and asbestos assessments, debris and ash removal, soil testing, erosion control, and a final sign-off before the property is certified as ready for rebuilding. The time required to complete debris removal on individual properties varies based on site-specific conditions.
