VENTURA, Calif. – The County of Ventura and Board of Supervisors will host a public event to raise the Progress Pride flag in recognition of LGBTQ+ Pride Month. The event is open to the media and the public.

WHAT:
Public ceremony for raising of the Progress Pride flag

Speakers include:

  • Supervisor Matt LaVere, Chair of the Ventura County Board of Supervisors
  • Supervisor Vianey Lopez, District 5
  • Dr. Sevet Johnson, County Executive Officer
  • Councilmember Pedro Chavez, Santa Paula City Council & former member of the County of Ventura HIV/AIDS Advisory Committee
